What happened to the watchlist?

We removed the watchlist because ongoing player tracking and automated alerts raised privacy and misuse concerns we weren’t comfortable with. RustBanned is returning to its original purpose: single and bulk Steam lookups. Both remain available without signing in.

VAC (Valve Anti-Cheat) is an automated system that detects cheats on users' computers. VAC bans are permanent and cannot be removed by Steam Support.

Game bans are issued by Facepunch Studios through Easy Anti-Cheat (EAC) and prevent you from playing on official and most community servers.

VAC bans are permanent. Game ban appeals must be directed to Facepunch Studios.
